In the Academic Ranking of World Universities (or the Shanghai ranking) VU University is ranked amongst the top 100 to 150 universities worldwide. In the subject field of medical sciences, we rank even higher, we belong to the top 100 worldwide.
The Bachelor of the Faculty of Medicine VU Amsterdam has a first position in the Dutch National Student (NSE) Survey 2022, and the Master of the Faculty of Medicine VU Amsterdam also scores in the top 3 of all medical faculties in the Netherlands. The National Students Survey (NSE) reflects how students experience the quality of their education.
